OTN Selects Altos Solutions as Partner for New Electronic Medical Record (EMR) for Community-Based Oncologists
OTN's New Lynx(R) EMR Complements Current Lynx Technology Platform Offerings
Helps Oncologists Improve Practice Efficiency

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Aug. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- OTN, a leading
physician services company and one of the largest distributors of products
and services to the community physician market, today announced that it has
entered into an exclusive agreement with Altos Solutions that will add
electronic medical record (EMR) functionality to OTN's current integrated
Lynx(R) technology platform. Lynx EMR is a new application that provides
broad oncology-specific electronic medical record capabilities and
integrates directly with Lynx' existing automated charge capture, inventory
management and practice management tools, giving community-based clinics
all the technology they need to run their operations. Lynx EMR was
developed specifically for medical oncologists.

"Our comprehensive, integrated Lynx technology platform provides
customers with the right technology at the right time, helping them succeed
with quality care initiatives and increasing profitability. With the
addition of the user-friendly Lynx EMR, we can now offer our customers
another capability that will help them increase practice efficiency and
allow more time for patient care," said Mike Kelly, chief information
officer for OTN. "We chose Altos as our EMR partner because of its
long-standing understanding of the technology needs of community
oncologists and of software as a service, which solves the frustrations
associated with purchasing software licenses, paying services contracts and
buying upgrades."

"OTN is an ideal partner for Altos because it is a leading player in
community-based oncology, with a 16-year history of providing
community-based oncologists with a broad set of products and services that
can increase practice efficiency and a customer base of more than 2,500
oncologists," said John T. Willey II, founder, president and CEO of Altos
Solutions. "OTN's Lynx technology platform has deeply penetrated
community-based oncology practices, and Lynx Mobile has been rapidly
adopted because of its accessibility at the point of care, demonstrating
OTN's leadership in community-based oncology. With the addition of Altos'
EMR, OTN now has a fully integrated technology platform that addresses the
needs of oncologists that practice in the community-based setting."

OTN's Lynx technology platform has a modular approach that automates
the processes that are most important to an oncology practice, such as
charge capture, inventory management, reporting, scheduling and billing.
This helps physicians who practice in the community-based treatment setting
manage clinical and business processes as efficiently as possible. OTN is
the only physician services company to provide integrated charge capture,
inventory management, practice management and electronic medical records
functionality under one technology platform.

Lynx EMR, a new application in the Lynx technology platform, is an
oncology-specific clinical management system that makes key patient medical
data available securely 24/7 via the web. Lynx EMR automatically generates
treatment flowsheets, calculates dosages, streamlines treatment
documentation and automates the creation of daily orders. It offers a Visit
Note system that can eliminate the need for outside transcription services.
In addition, Lynx EMR automatically creates charge-slips, ensuring no
charges are forgotten, and features an E&M scoring module that
automatically scores physician visit documentation, ensuring the practice
charges the code for which there is documentation. Lynx EMR monitors
outcomes, provides secure web access to patient medical records, alerts
users to critical indicators and reduces the possibility of error.

Altos Solutions will be featured at the American Society of Clinical
Oncology's (ASCO) Electronic Health Records (EHR): 2007 Oncology Symposium,
which is being held September 19-20 in Dallas. Information about the
Symposium is available by visiting http://www.asco.org/ehr and selecting
"EHR Events."
