Antioch chiropractor sought on charges of drugging and sexually assaulting woman
By Meredith May
Antioch police are searching for a 37-year-old chiropractor who they say drugged and sexually assaulted a woman he met in a bar, then returned to the bar to show off cell phone pictures of his crime.
A $225,000 felony arrest warrant has been issued for Jason Phillip Goettsch, who works at Advanced Chiropractic on Sunset Lane.
On February 22, Antioch police say they saw Goettsch and another man dragging a woman into a car from the Hold Cardroom and Bar. An officer approached and called an ambulance for the woman, who the officer believed was suffering from alcohol poisoning.
Goettsch was arrested on an unrelated warrant for driving under the influence. When he was booked at the police station, officers found he was carrying a bottle of GHB, commonly known as the "date rape drug."
After serving time for the DUI, Goettsch was released from custody. The on-going police investigation, however, found that the woman he was seen dragging had been unknowingly drugged with GHB.
Antioch police say Goettsch drugged the woman and her friend, took them both back to Advanced Chiropractic for massages and sexually assaulted one of them.
