Convicted chiropractor's board seat considered
No decision has been reached about the future of Campbell County Public Land Board member Jack Faubion’s seat on the board.
Faubion was convicted Thursday on four counts of third-degree sexual assault for groping female patients at his chiroproctic clinic in Gillette.
Faubion’s attorney Nick Carter said Tuesday that Faubion has suspended his practice, and that there were several legal decisions that Faubion needed to make, which include what he intends to do with his position on the board. He said that he has advised Faubion to stay silent because of the possibility of an appeal.
Faubion is serving his first three-year appointment to the land board. The City of Gillette appointed him in 2004. His term is scheduled to end Dec. 31.
